Our Collaborative, creative, and affective approach

Our practitioners use empirically-supported treatments that go beyond the traditional approach. We are collaborative, creative, and effective—understanding that while we are the experts on the treatment, you are the expert on you and your child. Our goal is to work together to develop highly individualized treatment plans that flexibly apply evidence-based interventions to meet your own unique needs.

We are committed to providing compassionate, individualized, scientifically-driven care. Our practitioners are experts in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions. We custom-tailor treatment using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavior Therapy (BT), Behavior Modification (BM), Cognitive Therapy (CT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Executive Functioning (EF), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Parent Management Training (PMT), Collaborative Problem Solving methods for parents (CPS), Family Based Therapy for eating disorders (FBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).

  • Do you offer online therapy sessions?

We provide both in-person and telehealth services. Depending on your location and needs, we can discuss which service is most appropriate for you.

  • Are your services covered by insurance?

Wellness Associates is an out of network provider. This means we do not accept any insurance. We bill patients directly at the time of service. While we are an out of network provider, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement through your insurance company. After payment is received, you will be provided with documentation, which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  • How do I know if I need therapy?

If you are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges that impact your daily life, relationships, or overall well-being, therapy might be beneficial. Our practitioners can help you determine the best course of action during an initial consultation.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by calling us, emailing us, or using the online form on our website. We strive to offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs.

  • Can parents be involved in their child's therapy?

Absolutely. We believe in a collaborative approach where parents play a crucial role in their child's therapy. We offer parent training and involve parents in the therapeutic process to support their child's progress.
