George Perron, M.S.
Psychology Extern
George Perron, M.S., is a Psychology Extern at Wellness Associates. He is a 4 th year Counseling Psychology doctoral student at Seton Hall University. He approaches therapy from an integrated, person-centered framework that incorporates his experience in using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. George previously completed practicums at a college counseling center and a family community, where he helped children and adults with a diverse range of ages and backgrounds. He also has over 10 years of experience working as a case worker providing psychoeducation and skills training in individual and group settings to help young adults and adults with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. George lives in CT with his wife and two boys, JJ and Eddy, who are neurodivergent. He enjoys
spending time with his family, playing and listening to music, and playing video games.
